The Sacred Power of Letting Go

Sunlight spilled across my face, nudging me out of a deep, dream-laced sleep. My head pounded, vision blurred, and for a moment I couldn’t tell where I was. I grabbed my phone. It was 8:56 a.m. Panic set in. I had a Galactic Akashic Reading in four minutes.

Despite having slept nearly nine hours, it felt like I hadn’t rested at all. This wasn’t your typical hangover from a night out. this was a spiritual hangover, and unfortunately (or fortunately?) I’ve gotten used to them. Overnight, I had pierced through more energetic veils.

And somehow, head spinning, heart pounding, I pulled myself together. I tapped into the Galactic Akashic Records and delivered a spot-on reading and healing session. The energy flowed because Spirit always shows up when we do.

I wasn’t surprised the veil-lifting happened, even if the timing was less than ideal. Over the past few months, I’ve been making deep changes in my life. Changes that have created space for my energetic field to expand. I’ve stepped more fully into my spiritual calling, begun co-teaching with my soul twin Kristen Wood, and most importantly, I've been releasing people, patterns, and energies that no longer serve my soul’s path.

For those unfamiliar, veils are metaphysical barriers that separate us from the divine. They keep us tethered to the illusion of separation. As we heal, grow, and return to our true selves, these veils begin to lift. With each veil released, our energy expands, psychic gifts awaken, and our connection to Source deepens. But sometimes, as in my case, the process can leave you feeling foggy, disoriented, or even hungover.

Every year on my path has a theme. I knew 2025 would be a year of massive spiritual expansion. I just didn’t realize it would involve so many spiritual hangovers. It started on New Year’s Eve, when I suddenly lost all interest in alcohol before the ball even dropped. Since then, I’ve leaned further into my purpose: marketing my services, speaking on summits and podcasts, and stepping fully into visibility.

But the real transformation began this May, when I finally walked away from a toxic client dynamic that had mirrored an old cycle of abusive relationships. That shift opened a floodgate. I’ve since released several relationships, both personal and professional that no longer resonate with my higher path. And the results? Stunning. I’ve had veil after veil lift, and with each one, I feel lighter, clearer, and more aligned.

And here’s the wild part: as soon as I cleared out the stagnant energy, new opportunities flowed in without me chasing them. It’s as if the Universe had been waiting for me to make room.

Let me be clear; this isn’t bragging. This is the human-spiritual journey we all walk. We’re here to grow, to heal, and to shed what no longer serves us. That’s the essence of being a spiritual being in human form: learning, releasing, evolving.
